x300 SE Driver update

I have the ATI 128 MB PCI-Express x16 (DVI/VGA/TV-out) Readeon X300 SE and I have noticed that video driver updates exist for my system

Support lists:

Driver: 10/19/2004 ATI 128MB PCI-Express x16 (DVI/VGA/TV-out) Radeon X300 SE, v.8.051-040825a-017900C-Dell-MRMGA, A01

Utilities: 09/22/2004
ATI 128MB PCI-Express x16 (DVI/VGA/TV-out) Radeon X300 SE, v.CPOnly-040713a-016867E, A01

The driver states under Fixes and Enhancements: "Driver support for Windows Media Center Edition 05 and Windows XP Pro/Home Service Pack 2"

Is this a critical update for using XP SP2?

If I should update, what are the precise steps?

Is the Utility listed part of the driver update?

www.ati.com and find your drivers there, they will include all you need in one download.
