Transparency slider missing
I just got a refurb XPS 420 today.
Q6700, 4GB, 8800GTX, Vista Ultimate; I'm a brand new Vista user so this is probably an operator error.
When I right click on desktop > Personalize > Window color and Appearance I don't have a transparency slider.
I do have: Enable Transparancy check box, Color intensity slider and Show Color Mixer check box.
Window borders are slightly transparent but window contents are opaque.
How can I get the missing slider?
Thanks, john

Do you not want with windows borders to be transparent?
if not thats due to the aero theme.
to turn off aero and have opaque boarders
1. Click Start, and then click Control Panel.
2. Click Appearance and Personalization.
3. Under Personalization, click Change the color scheme.
4. Select anything but Aero
