Studio Hybrid Wireless 1505 w/ Weak Signal

So I am having issues with the strength of the signal that my studio hybrid is reciveing.  I've upgrade the drivers and such, but I still only get 2 out of 5 bars, and with a G router only get 11 mbps most of the times.  Issue is that my laptop (also a dell from work) gets 4 bars and consistant 54 mbps from the same location.  Any way to fix this or is the 1505 card just that lame?
