Re-use OptiPlex 9020 Case & Components?
Hi,
I bought a secondhand OptiPlex 9020 with the intention of upgrading the PSU & graphics card to use it to run golf simulator software. As expected, the PSU isn't powerful enough to run my new GPU, but I've just discovered that I can't just upgrade it due to proprietary motherboard connections...
So, my question is, can I re-use the case, replacing the motherboard & PSU, but re-using the other components?
Obviously, I can buy a replacement case too if required, but given I'm already spending much more than I'd intended, I'd rather keep the costs down where I can!
Thanks!

9020, 9020M or 9020 AIO?
Dell typically uses a custom connection between motherboards and front panels but doesn't make that info public. So you may not be able to install a non-Dell board, unless you can map the wiring yourself. A new case and motherboard will likely be needed.
Additionally, you'll have to buy a new Windows license because Dell's OEM version is only licensed for the Dell motherboard and probably won't even install on a system with a non-Dell motherboard...
