no sound on avermedia tv tuner

I have a new Dimension 8400 with avermedia tv tuner. Ihave normal sound on the pc but no sound when I want to watch tv. Whow do I have to proceed to get sound? Thanks for answers.

You should check the sound card properties to see if something is muted like line-in, aux, or cd.

I have checked the Creative Audigy 2 Sound Card audio settings and they all appear to be on and I still get no sound when watching the TV via the Avermedia USB2 device. Further advice would be much appreciated?

I got the dsound by inserting the Avermedia audio out into the blue input on the Sound card
