memory could not be "read"

Hi i am looking for some help. My computer popped up with this message.

The instruction at "0x10017ef4" referenced at "0x01208000" the memory could not be "read"

I tryed to debug it but it didnt work and the blue screen came up saying the system was shut down..

 

Can anyone help me out here?

What model system do you have? What version of windows is it running? Have you tested the system for hardware failures with the Dell Customer Diagnostics that came with the system?

i havent tried the hardware tester yet, i will when i get to work tomorrow.

Can you tell me where i can find the hardware tester?

You can find this on the Drivers and Utilities CD that came with the system. You will need to boot the system to this CD to run the tests.
