installing a printer

every time I try to install my printer I get the message        "print spooler service  is not running".    What do I need to do?

Try going to Start > Run and typeing services.msc then click OK. Page down and double click on Print Spooler. Chagne the Startup Type to Automatic and click on the Start Button to start the service.
