How do I remove the 'Safely Remove Hardware' icon from my system tray?

Hi:

For some reason, the 'Safely Remove Icon' keeps coming up when I load Windows, giving me an option to remove my C and D drives, as well as my F and G drives. I haven't changed any settings (it's a new computer), but I'd like to know why this is coming up and how I can make it go away.
