High-Pitched Noise coming from my m1330

Hi, I registered in this forum because my m1330, arrived just a week ago, has been making a high-pitched noise.  I did some research, found that a lot of m1330 users are also experiencing this problem.  Can this problem be fixed or is it just that my m1330 is defective?  If I want to set up an online chat with a Dell rep to address this issue, should I chat with the technical support or with the customer service rep?
