Dell 8200 (bios with HT) and problem with installing SP2

Hey.  Earlier this month before Spongebob went MIA, I asked him if SP2 would work with the bios and he said yes.

Well when I tried to download SP2 I got the blue screen of death.  I resetted and sent my error.  I got back that my bios is old.

Those with Windows SP2 and the HT bios, please help me out!  Thanks!:)

Wow...umm...

Should I down SP2 again?  I guess that is the only way I got right it all down...

I have seen this before when I tried to do the XP game advisory software...same blue screen with message.

Is there somewhere I can see the list of blue screen error messages.  I know I could point it out if I see it.

I will have to try this later tonight since I am not at home.

Ok.  I have the exact error message from the blue screen below...

A problem has detected and Windows has been shut down to prevent
damage to your computer.

PAGE_FAULT_IN_NONPAGED_AREA

If this is the first time you've seen this stop error screen,
restart your computer.  If this screen appears again, follow the
steps:

Check to make sure any new hardware or software is properly
installed.  If this is a new installation, ask your hardware or
software manufacturer for any windows updates you might need.

If problems continue, disable or remove any newly installed
hardware or software.  Disable BIOS memory options such as
caching or shadowing.  If you need to see Sage Mode to remove or
disable components, restart your computer, press F8 to select
Advance startup options, and then select Safe Mode.
