Creepy Orange LED

Happy Halloween Folks,
 
Anyone ever notice the creepy Orange LED that is on even though the computer is powered down?
 
My Inspirion 530 has a Creepy Orange LED. The orange glow creeps throught the the side air vents.
 
Spooky thing to see early Halloween Morning.

Sounds like the motherboard standby light. Often they are green. It indicates that the motherboard is getting the standby power so it can power up when needed.

I have noticed the light at the back of my machine....quite bright at night in the dark (in my bedroom) and when powered up I get quite a disco show other flashing lights. :smileyvery-happy:
