Unity 450F Virus Scanning
Hello,
We are having issues with one of the two virus scanning servers. I'm getting the following error about once a week. This is for 5 cif shares and we scan everything.
"The virus checker server X has encountered an error and is no longer operational.(Error: OFFLINE, httpStatus: 1006 Connection Disconnected)
The system could not connect to the virus checker server. Check the status of the network and the virus checker server."
It seemed to go "offline" for a very brief amount of time.
I'm not sure what to look for or really where to begin? It doesn't appear the server rebooted or anything like that. 2 weeks ago I added a share to scan, but there is really nothing on it yet.I have access to the windows VMs running CAVA.
Any feedback is greatly appreciated. -John

Thanks SAM, these are both running windows server 2007 edition. I see Microsoft .NET framework NGEN v2, but it is not running on both servers. Also I did notice on one server the cpu was much more busy, looked like it was scanning vs the other one was really quiet. I guess because it is active passive?

Hello John,
I would check & make sure that .NET Framework 3.5 is running on your windows host. Once .NET Framework 3.5 is running and CAVA service started properly. Here is a link to .NET Framework if you need it. https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/dotnet/framework/install/dotnet-35-windows-10
Please let us know if you have any other questions.

Hello John,
I would try enabling .NET Framework on your servers & see if you still get the error message.
Please let us know if you have any other questions.

I received error 1006 'Connection Disconnected' when attempting to migrate to Windows Server 2019. Can anyone help fix this issue now? I'm using CEE version 8.9.9.0.
