Unable to reduce datastore size

I setup a new datastore that is thin provisioned so I could reduce the amount of storage in case I wanted to reclaim some space. When I attempt to do so, I get an error message and unsure what to do. "The error message: Data reduction cannot be enabled because the Flash Percent value for the selected pool is less than 10%". How can I resolve this?
