UEFI-based HDD firmware update yields "EFI Invalid Parameter" on every disk

Hi everyone, attempting to upgrade some disk firmware with the UEFI A13 nautilus utility (booted via USB) for some 900GB 2.5" SAS disks today, going from CS05 to CS09, and getting the following error.

My platform is an R720+MD1220+ PERC H800, all at the latest firmware (updated via ftp.dell.com about a month ago.)

Anyone have any experience with this?  The disks are refurb from a reliable vendor, and all 24 are exhibiting the exact same behavior so i highly doubt they're bad.  Is CS05 to CS09 too big of a jump?

ST9900805SS is the drive model # in question.

Thank you,

Oops, i think i might have put this in the EMC section accidentally.  if an admin could move it to the powervault section, it might fit better there.

Also, an update, i was able to update the disks to CS09 using the nautilus A49 DOS based updater.  I've just never gotten the UEFI to work quite right, not sure why.  Definitely boots to the utility just fine, but will not reliably update things the way the DOS version does.
