Slowness Problem Storage MD 3200i
We are experiencing a Slowness Problem in several environments that access our storage MD 3200i.
However, there are no trouble indicators on any equipment or software. The only thing we've seen so far is strange numbers in the iSCSI statistics analysis related to Module 1 ports. The storage is operating in an optimal state.
Any help in interpreting these numbers? Thank you!

Hello cbalanc,
What is your current version of firmware on your MD3200i? How many iSCSI ports are you using per controller?

Hi! Thank you for your reply.
The firmware version is: 07.84.53.60. There are 4 iSCSI ports per controller. But I only notice this on module 1 ports.

Hello,
Also, the iSCSI ports are connected to the 1GB Dell PowerConnect 5524 switch and hosts are connected to the same switch. We are using Round Robin for multipathing (preferred path); we have made several configurations in the disk groups, but none of them improves the conditions.

Hello cbalanc,
First thing that you will want to do is to upgrade the firmware on your MD3200i, as you are using a really old firmware. There were performance upgrades that were made in newer versions of firmware. Here is the link to the firmware, resource dvd., & HDD/SSD firmware.
