Secondary Hard Drive
I want to install a secondary hard drive into my Dell E520 running Windows Vista, Do I need to clone the new drive to make it operational or can I just install Windows Vista onto it? Thank you.

You may want to post/ask this in the desktop section instead of the Dell|EMC SAN storage section.

Do you want Vista installed on the second drive so you can have 2 versions of the same operating system? or do you want the second drive to be used as extra storage space? You can just install it correctly in your case with the power and sata connectors, and it should be detected and ready to use.
