SAN Dell Equalogic PS6500 - Warnings

Hi Team, 

We are getting the below warnings on SAN Dell Equalogic PS6500. Any help to rectify the warnings will be appreciated. 

Warning: Member 35PS6500-01 Unauthorized Drive Detected
Warning: Member 35PS6500-01 The member contains a drive not approved for use in a PS Series array. Replace all unauthorized drives with drives approved for PS Series arrays.
Warning: Member 35PS6500-01 network port eth1 has a requested status of up, but the current status is down.
Warning: Member 35PS6500-01 network port eth1 has a requested status of up, but the current status is down.
Warning: Member 35PS6500-01 network port eth2 has a requested status of up, but the current status is down.
Warning: Member 35PS6500-01 network port eth2 has a requested status of up, but the current status is down.
Warning: Member 35PS6500-01 network port eth3 has a requested status of up, but the current status is down.
Warning: Member 35PS6500-01 network port eth3 has a requested status of up, but the current status is down.

While never having experience with these particular devices myself, I would make an educated guess that they can only take a few different drive tyoes; some other Dell equipment is like that, as well. Drives is just one place where I have seen this sort of thing occur. What kind of drives are you using, and are you able to get around the warning and keep going?

Hello Bharu,

As Cambridgeport90 stated the error that you are getting is that you have inserted a non equallogic drive into your PS6500.  If it is a Dell drive that you inserted, then we can look at the dell part# to ensure that it is a equallogic supported hard drive.
