Replaced PowerVault MD3600i Raid Controller Module & Won't Connect!!!!
Replaced the preferred path controller module with firmware dual controllers having same firmware " NVSRAM Version: N26X0-820890-908" and after power cycling device the main controller won't connect. A bit of confusion as to why the occurrence is preventing a connection. The replacement should be seemingless as this has dual enclosures. Prior to replacing, the machine was powered down for roughly 10 to 15 minutes and still the existing module would not shoot the config to enclosure 0. Is it a process I'm not aware of before replacement?
Prior to replacement, enclosure 0 was going in & out, which in turn caused me to remove the faulty device. I initially thought the eth cable was causing a disturbance with the network connection, but was unsuccessful.
