PowerVault MD3200 and MD1200 SAS EMM0 and EMM1 failed
I have this setup at a clients location and it is being used for recording CCTV footage. Both the EMM Modules are blinking twice indicating a loss of communication with enclosure. The strange thing is I can see the Hard drives in the MD1200 inside the Power Edge and the recording to the hard drives is still normal. There is just an issue with the EMM Modules. Should I replace the EMM Modules, The Backplane, or the cables maybe? I have already tried powering down the systems and swapping the eMM's to see if reseating will help but it did nothing. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Hello ravadox,
If you go to MDSM and look at the recovery guru does it list any errors, or alerts? What is the current version of firmware on your MD3200 and your MD1200? Have you gathered a support bundle from your MD3200 so that we can review it?

Hello,
I have exactly the same problem
Both the EMM Modules are blinking twice indicating a loss of communication with enclosure. The server using this MD1200 is running ok.
Read some place saying MDSM is only for MD3200.
What should I do with MD1200?
using CLI command?
