Net storage products
A product like NX3100 is said to support up to 24 TB (2TB x 12 slots). I've read somewhere in the product page that it supports only one raid group 5/6. Does this mean I need to have all the 12 slots filled by the time I get this machine up&running? Rebuilding the entire raid if I buy a new disk doesn't seem like an option, and given that it is said to support only 1 raid group creating another raid group is not supported. I can't see any other credible alternative, can someone please clarify? Am I misreading something?
Another question: this seems to be running on Windows Server 2008, does it support NFS or will I have to settle for Samba?

this comes with two 2.5in disks for the os in R1 and the remaining 3.5in disks in R5/6 for data. You use the server/nas manager to create volumes and share, NFS is supported.
