Need Information About HDD partitions

Hi Dell Team,

I purchased a Dell Inspiron 14R N 411o laptop.

In my laptop Windows 7 Home Premium is Pre Installed.

I want to change my Operating System.

I would like to install Windows XP Service Pack 2.

Is it possible to install Windows Xp over it.

If possible then how to and give me the instructions.

I strictly like to use Windows XP and i want to install it.

Also i want to divide my Hard Drive into 4 0r 5 partitions.

Its Capacity is 500GB.

At First time it is single drive.

I have a problem i.e my laptop contains single partition which is of Basic Disk.if extend it is there any problem?

If i do more than one partition it is converting to Dynamic Disk. In Dynamic Partition it is not supporting any other OS installation.

If i change the sata operation(ATA & AHCI) in BIOS, is it supports to install other Operating system.

Plz help me in this regarding.
