MD3200 clustering inside Windows 2008 R2

Hello,

i am trying to setup clustering with ISCSI on MD3200 but cluster check is failing.

Over windows iscsi initiator i connected to storage and i did not use multipathing each path on the same is same. Now i have 2 luns from storage , quorum 1gb, and data lun 120gb. This check fails for quorum disk and i have no clue why since it's added the same way like the bigger data LUN. Any thoughts?

This is the error:

Did you install MDSM on both cluster servers? At least the host software is needed on any Windows server attaching to an MD SAN.

I found the problem, why is the crappy access disk of 19MB auto created? It is the reason why my cluster check is failing so i would like to know how can i tell windows iSCSI initiator not to connect it to OS? I deleted removed it from connected disks, but it's still in the disk devices after i rebooted the server.

That 19MB disk only shows up if you didn't install the MD host software. With the MD host software it masks that disk to hide it and gives you the proper MPIO driver needed to use the MD SAN.
