Is the Hot Spare used for all diskpools?
Hey,
I just created a diskpool and added a hotspare disk. I have some more diskspace and I created an new diskpool, and let one disk alone to try to use that as a hotspare for the new diskpool but it doesnt show up.. so my question or more of verification is:
Does the hotspare you assign go across Disk Pools so its used for all of them and gets assigned but the first faulty disk?

You posted in the Dell|EMC section, so I can only assume you have an AX100, AX150 or AX4-5 (on the CX-series (running Navisphere Manager instead of Navisphere Express the terminology is different).
Hotspares are indeed global. However, if you have an AX4-5 and are running SAS as well as SATA drives, you'd need a hotspare for each drive type.
