I have Dell MD3000i storage,i found an error 1011.
Error 1011 A management connection to the RAID controller module in slot1 must be defined to complete this operation
If you are managing this RAID controller module directly through the Etherenet(out of band) you must define its management connection using the add storage array option
No Events found!

Are you able to ping both raid controllers' management IP addresses?
If so, at the top of MDSM select to remove the MD3000i (only means MDSM forgets it exists; it doesn't affect production or the configuration), then let it rediscover it and try what you're trying to do again.

If this is CLI (command line) use the IP address of the owning controller instead on the san name defined in DNS.
We had to do this for all our disk copy commands from the CLI or they would not run with a similar / same error message.
PS: If you made a recent IP address change on this management port, re-start the MD3000i or at leats restart the owning controller. Sometimes they won't change without a reboot if the subnet changes.
