How to check for the hot spare disk in MD3460

Good Morning Dell Community,

​Hello,​

​I manages 6 OSTs. Each OST fills with 12 disks in 5 drawers.  One disk status is "Impending Failure (reported by physical disk).  ​My question is:​

* Can i replace the Impending failure disk now or wait until the disk completely failed with he red X indicator.
    -  Currently, the Service action (removable) allowed = No (with red x)

* If i replace it now, how can i check if there is a hotspare.  

Note:  from the MDSM > Hardware > Hot Spare Coverage > View/Change View Change hot spare coverage > Summary.  The Total hot spare physical disks = 0, Standby = 0, In Use = 0.  Is that meant i dont have the hot spare.  If i dont have the Hot spare, when replacing the falure disk, i have to UNCHECK the box "Copy content of the physical disk before failing".
