Hello Latif,

Can you access the management port on controller 0?  Or are you able to ping the IP for controller 0?  What is happening is that as you are trying to create the virtual disk it is trying to assign it to controller 0 but it is not able to communicate will controller in slot0 management that is why you are getting the error.

Please let us know if you have any other questions.

I was not able to ping one of the controller cards.

I pulled out the card and re-inserted it (we have dual controllers) and this has fixed the issue.
