EMC AX100 DRIVE REBUILD

We currently utilize a AX100 in where a single non OS drive is failed.  I have a second unit with the same type of drives and what to use one of these drives to replace the failed drive.   Is there anything that needs to be done to the disk prior to moving the disk into the slot of the failed drive.

If the other unit you have is an AX100 then you will just have to hot swap the drive. The only downside is that it will not be good on the system you are taking the drive from. Feel free to let me know if you have any other questions.

The one thing i failed to mention is the drive that I have to replace the failed drive has been used in a AX100 and probably has old data.  Not sure if this makes any difference?
