DellEMC me4024 show expanded volume space as unaloc/avail.
Hello. The problem is:
1. On esxi 6.7 i see that i have 8.1TB capacity LUN1 with 4.26TB free.
2. On DellEMC me4024 -> volumes -> size of the volume 8.9TB and allocated only 2275.6GB.
Other space is unallocated/available/free. In "pools" i see this LUN1 and it has 6700.2GB free space of 8.9TB size.
How it can be?

Hello Ulrich001,
The reason for the difference is that your ME4 see space in base 10 where your host is looking at the storage in base 2. You can change your ME4 so that it is using base 2. To change your ME4 you will need to

Good day.
I can't understand why on DellEMC i see that i used only 2118.7GB
But on esxi 6.7. 3.83TB is in use and 4.26TB free.
Somehow on DellEMC 3.83-2.06TB = 1.77TB still free/unallocated.
Thank you for answer.
Now i see size as 8358.5GB well. That's ok.
But the problem still persists.

Hello Ulrich001,
I would check in esxi to make sure that your data store is not set to thick provision lazy0. I have seen that when it is set that way that the space is not reported correctly. If you have it set to thin provision, then we will need to look at the logs from your ME4024 or you can contact support & we can look into see why the space is showing as different in esxi.
Please let us know if you have any other questions.

Hello Sam,
All my guest OS in esxi datacenter have hard disk's type "thick provision lazy zeroed".
As i understand, i need to use "Thick Provision Eager Zeroed" in future?
And wait until my guest OS use all available space inside the OS?
