Use the IBM Test Tool to verify if your LTO is in a usable state. If you log into the TL2000 whats in the logs? Does the Windows device manager (after pressing F5 for a refresh) does display the LTO?

It seems like your Dell PowerVault TL2000 is having an issue with media attention and is showing a "Status Warning." The "No writable idle devices available" message in Veritas Backup Exec suggests the drive may be in a state where it can't accept new data. Here's what you can try:
Check the Tape Drive: Ensure that the tape drive is not in a failed or offline state. If needed, perform a health check or run a diagnostic on the device.
Check Tape Media: Ensure the tapes you are using are not full or expired. Try using a new tape or reformatting the existing tape to make sure it’s writable.
Reset the Tape Library: Power cycle the TL2000 to reset any possible issues that could be causing the media to be in an idle or unresponsive state.
Update Firmware: Make sure your PowerVault TL2000 has the latest firmware installed. Sometimes, compatibility or communication issues can cause errors like these.
Check Backup Exec Settings: Verify that Backup Exec is properly configured to recognize the device and that the correct tape drives are selected. Also, ensure there are no conflicts with device configurations or policies.
Check for Hardware Issues: Inspect the TL2000 for any hardware issues, such as dirty tape drives or misaligned media. Cleaning the drives can sometimes resolve read/write errors.
Let me know if this helps or if you need further assistance!
