Dell MD3000 Degraded Physical Disk Channel

Have an MD3000 that is part of a storage array with the "Degraded Physical Disk Channel" error, I need to upload the support files somewhere and would request some assistance in determining what the problem is.

at first when this happened we had a physical disk failure, so we replaced the disk thinking that the other error would resolve itself, but now the storage array is reporting the newly replaced disk as failed along with the original error "degraded physical disk channel"
