Dell EMC2 NAS Storage Data Copy causing Destination path too long error
Dear Community,
We have Dell EMC2 NAS Storage. We have created shares oflders in it.
When i try to copy data from one folder (xyz-share this folder contains many subfolders and files inside it ) to another(abc-share ) inside NAS it gives me error "Destination Path Too Long". I cannot rename all files and folders to copy the data as it would take forever. Can anyone please suggesta a solution?

Hello,
Which specific storage solution are you working with? When you say that you're trying to copy the data, are you selecting a directory, and trying to copy the data and sub-directories to another location? I want to make sure that I properly understand the issue.

Hello Storages,
There is not any other way other than to rename the files so that they can be copied to a new folder. You will need to rename all files with a shorter name in order for the copy to complete.

Hi! You can try Long Path Tool for solving this issue. It is very helpful.
