DAS for R320 Server
Please advise the most efficient configuration of DELL DAS Models to achieve 32TB Storage in Raid 5. Kindly explain also on how to connect the DAS MDXXXX to R320 Server.

hi everyone! Just want to know if i can directly use MD 3220 as direct attached storage (DAS) for Dell Server R320 eventhough it has no SAS port?

Hello jdtria,
With the R320 server you can connect it to the MD3220. Now you will need to get a SAS HBA to connect your server to the MD3220. Now for your R320 server you would need to get a Dell 12GB SAS controller to connect the MD3220 to the server.
