Hello Pavel515
Have you tried restarting the management server on both SP’s? In most cases when you do both at the same time it will resolve your issue. To restart the management server, you go to the IP address of both SP’s/setup. Once on the setup page the restart management server option is towards the bottom of the setup page.
You can restart the management server and it will not have any impact on your CX500 production.
Please let us know if you have any other questions.

Hi, Sam
Of course we overloaded SP in different combinations
At first SP A then SP B
At first SP B then SP A
At the same time and SP A and SP B
All this was done both with management serve, and with full switching off of food :(
Now EMC CX500 is brought out of a configuration.
It is possible to make any experiments

Hello Sam.
With the switch everything is all right. there are no errors on interfaces.
As I understood further it is necessary to provide remote access to the authorized staff. But as I already told the equipment is taken out of service so it is possible to carry out your step by step instructions

Hello Pavel515,
If you are still not able to get your SP to show as unmanaged then I would check the switch that the SP are connected to make sure there are no issues. If your switch is clear and no errors are being reported on the ports that the SP’s are plugged into, then in most cases you will need to use EMC remote to go into the SP’s and restart the service that way. Now using EMC remote should be done by an EMC technician as it can be destructive & a loss of data if not done correctly.
Please let us know if you have any other questions.

Hello Pavel515,
Since your CX500 is not in production then you can use EMC remote and login to each SP & try to reset the management service to see if that resolves your issue.
Please let us know if you have any other questions.

Hello Pavel515,
Since the reset of the management service didn’t work, then you will need to get the EMC remote software and the serial cable that came with your CX500 to fix your issue. You will need to restart the Cimmon service which can be done via EMC remote directly on the SP’s. You will need to have an EMC account to download the software. There are also some knowledge base articles on EMC site that can help with using EMC remote as well.
Please let us know if you have any other questions.

Hello Sam
According to article of the knowledge base on EMC website the necessary software is EMCRemote client, but in downloads Host only. :( And where to take EMCRemote client.

Host only
I found a serial cable. I checked connection. Even the telnet works for port 5414. Only there is no EMCRemote client

Hello Pavel515,
You might find it by doing an internet search. I know that in tech support has access to EMC remote client. I know your system is out of service contract so you are not able to get support via the phone.
Please let us know if you have any other questions.
