CX3-20c SNMP

I have a CX3-20c and i was wondering if there is a way i can setup SNMP to monitor the LUN's

We have a monitoring program that is incorporated thoughout our many clients so it would be great to add it in so the Helpdesk can monitor the LUN's. (as we have had a couple incidents)

Any Idea's?

Have you checked Powerlink?

I believe EMC has some documentation on how to set up SNMP. I'm not sure what it can monitor or so, but EMC's support site would probably be a good place to start.

Supposedly you can, we never got ours to work with IT Assistant via SNMP though, Dell didn't seem to have much of a clue either. There's an app on the SAN you need to enable then set up a monitor but there's a brief article somewhere on the EMC Powerlink website that has the full instructions (sorry it was a few months ago I was trying to set this up and have forgotten it now).

You can use the same process as email home to have the array send an SNMP trap. It's on one of the other tabs in the template.

Dell ITA does support monitoring EMC  arrays via SNMP traps.
Here is a link to the ITA documentation.
