Connecting to more that one SAN

Is it posible for a single server to connect to two differnet SANs? From the server it would see two LUNS, one from each SAN and would be able to access them as normal. Inside the server it would have deadicated HBAs for each SAN.

The question would be

is this posible?

Is the Navi client able to handle two differnet SNA configuration?

Would powerpath be able to see all the paths to each SAN?

The reason i'm asking is i am looking into a tactical fix to get around data replication, until they cough up and buy mirrorview

EMC has validated having a server connect up to 4 different Clariion architecture SANs if I'm not mistaken.

I'm not sure that covers mixing iSCSI and FC on the server, but if all connections from the server are the same time (all iSCSI or all FC), you should be fine connecting to 2 AX or CX arrays (or a mix; if you're connecting to AX and CX, you'll need a Powerpath license as the CX-connectivity isn't covered under the free Powerpath-for-AX-series option).
