AX4-5i Flare Upgrade
I am preparing to upgrade our AX4-5i to the newest FLARE OS. I have backups of the data on the SAN, but have not performed this type of upgrade before. What are the chances that this upgrade could corrupt data or render the unit unusable?

The chances are very low that you'd 'brick' your system or lose data (but not zero of course).
If your servers are fully redundant connected, you'd only take a performance hit (the system disables write cache during the ~45 minutes for the flare upgrade), but no complete downtime as it applies the flare to SPB, reboots SPB, waits 6 minutes (in case SPB needs a 2nd reboot) and then applies it to SPA and reboots that one (possibly twice).
