AX150 IP Address Change
We have two AX150 units and on one of them I need to change IP address and subnet. I need to know for SURE, that this will not wipe out my settings if I do the Uninitialize procedure and then run wizard to setup IP and password again. I have valuable information on this array and I would not want to clear out my arrays or virtual disks.
Has anyone else on these forums changed the IP and everything stayed intact? I also would like some reassurance from Dell Support too. I talked with a dell support rep last week and she said that it wouldn't harm anything. I'm just looking for a second opinion on this.
According to previous Dell Rep, "To uninitialize an array, power off the array and then press and hold the power button for at least one second after the unit turns on (approximately 5-6)."
Will this work? I need to make sure that my iSCSI connections, Server registartions, and Array info stays intact. Please verify for me. Thnaks.

But, as always; your data is only as important and the effort you spend to back it up, especially when you're about to do anything semi-significant.
For safety; prior to shutting down the array, go to Services and diagnostic files and make sure to get a diagnostic file from both storage processors (save it on your desktop/laptop or so). This is contains the exact complete configuration of your setup, which never hurts to have.
