I never bother with binding volumes. Windows bases drive letters on the disk signature and partition number on that disk. If the order changes that the virtual disks show up, the drive letters still stay the same.

Maybe certain very specific software that bypasses drive letters and bases it's IO on scsi addresses might require binding targets.
