AX100 and detryoting virtual disk pool 1
I've got a Dell/EMC AX100 running FLARE 02.19.100.5.046 with NaviSphere Express that I am looking to do a bit of work re-distributing the disks across disk pools. Am I right in thinking that FLARE is stored on a seperate, invisble partition on the first 4 physical disks?
If so, is there any danger from me destroying the disk pool and associated virtual disks that resides on these 4 disks? I want to re-use these disks as part of a large disk pool that I am planning to create but don't obviously want to nuke FLARE...

You can safely destroy any diskpools or virtual disks you have on the first 4 disks. The storage space where the flare is located isn't reachable without engineering tools/software.
The only warning is not to just start moving those first 4 drives around or replacing them (all at the same time). If you want to replace those drives, I'd recommend to at least create a diskpool on those drives with a small (1GB, dummy) virtual disk, and then swap 1 drive, wait for the rebuild of the dummy virtual disk to finish and only then replace the next drive. Rinse and repeat for the other 2 drives.
