AX 150 - reset to default
Inherited from another company that's a device.
As usual, no information about the current settings of the device.
Please help to reset.
Also, I can not find the service tag.

i'm already did it
I plug both managment ports (A & B) into the 16-port switch.
Also plug the computer with intialization Utility in same switch with windos xp
Set the ip 192.168.0.2 and mask 255.255.255.0 on this computer.
Then turn on the EMC AX 150.
The utility can't find anything.

You can't really reset the unit to default.
You will want to download the Navisphere Initialization Utility from the Dell AX150 download section on the EMC site. Plug both controllers (management ports) into a switch, plug a system into that same switch that runs the OS that you downloaded the initialization utility for and run this. It should find the IP addresses of the array. Then you may need to change your system's IP address to match that subnet. Once on that subnet, open a browser and go to one of the 2 array's IP addresses. You should be prompted for the username and password.
To reset the security, check out this document on EMC's website.

Verify that both controllers show no fault lights and that the powerled is solid green. If it's not solid green, the controller hasn't finished booting and you'd never be able to find the unit with the initialization utility.

That LED has the following meaning:
- blinking once every 4 seconds (0.25Hz) = bios test
- blinking once a second (1Hz) = POST
- blinking 4 times a second (4Hz) = boot (POST finished succesfully)
Do you know if the original first 4 harddrives are in the first 4 slots (in exactly the location where they should be? The OS for the unit is stored on those drives and without those drives (in the right places) you basically have an expensive doorstop.

In this server I have only 2 HDD on 0 and 1 slot's.
And, I don't know anything about OS on this hard's
I understand you correctly, that these drives should be the operating system?

Storage processor A (the right controller processor when looking at the back) has an image that's a hidden mirror between disk 0 and 2. Storage processor B (the left controller when looking at the back) has it's boot image on a hidden mirror between disk 1 and 3.
The dual storage processor unit never shipped with less than 4 drives. You need the original first 4 drives and you need to put them back in the system/enclosure in the exact slots that they came from.

I made research, and I found that last two hard (2 and 3) were stolen.
But I have two similar to the original, drives.
It's possible to put this clear hard's in to EMC and make something with EMC ?

The AX150 only accept EMC certified/firmwared drives. So, if the 2 drives you have came from another AX150, they might be accepted (once you get the array up and running, which is unlikely as your current 2 drives cannot get the array up and running either).
If the 2 drives you have are just the same drive model and/or size, but they don't have an EMC firmware on them, they won't work.
(NOTE: only the AX100 isn't restricted to just being able to use EMC drives)

So, if I understand you correctly, this device will not work with the two original disks. By the way, these two discs - not enough for EMC? After all, they must have been just as well stay the firmware?
Or, what needs to be done that would be a device to function fully?
Or let us imagine a situation where these two hard drives (2 and 3) - broken. Service tag is missing.
This device has something like IPMI?

So , I can insert two blank discs into 2 and 3 slots, and get access management EMC?

With the right knowledge (engineering level knowledge) the absolute minimum to get the array up and running you need is one of the original first 4 harddrives of this unit in the exact slot that it came from, and you need 3 more EMC AX150 certified drives.
You could then boot 1 storage processor and recover the OS for the other storage processor via the serial port.
If you have none of the original 4 drives (in the slot that it came from), there is no way to get the array back up and running without EMC's assistance (through Dell), which would require an active warranty (which requires a service tag to be verified). Basically; the array is useless without (at least one of the) first 4 drives.

As your controllers aren't booting (finishing booting), adding (blank) disks won't make a difference as there still is no bootable OS (and you cannot load an OS without getting drives with a pre-loaded OS from the EMC factory).
If the first 2 drives were working and you added 2 additional AX150 certified drives, the OS on the controllers would automatically start rebuilding their mirror onto those additional drives, but without the OS up and running on the controllers, this won't matter.
Except the very old FC-series, all EMC Clariion arrays (CX, AX100, AX150, CX3, AX4-5 and CX4-series) had their OS (and complete configuration info) on the first 3, 4 or 5 drives (exact number depends on which exact array). So if you don't have those first few drives (in the correct slots), the array can't boot and basically is useless.
