Adding a second HD to my Dimension 4700
I need some help! I have a Dimension 4700, and I also have an older GX270 with an extra HD in it. I want to move the extra HD to the 4700, but I don't know if it will work! The second drive is a Seagate SV35.1 160GB Ultra ATA ST3160812AV P/N 9CS032-501
Does anyone know if this drive will work in my 4700? Thanks!

You may want to ask this in the desktop storage area. You posted in the Dell|EMC fiber channel SAN storage area, which is very different from your Dimension 4700 (or any desktop, laptop or server computer).

If you have only 1 cd/dvd drive, you might add it as a slave drive to the cd/dvd drive. I would think this might be away to get info from drive. You would be better off to get another SATA drive as a second drive. Hope this helps.
