Scheduled jobs not starting
Hi,
I'm creating a repository and then issue the export command, but it doesn't export sometimes, how do I make it do the thing?
drm --deployment-type=share --location=$exportDir -r=$repoName
Job Export_11/06/2024_11:42:01 is scheduled to run at: Wed Nov 06 11:42:04 AEST 2024

"C:\ProgramData\Dell\drm\DRMVersion_A00.tar.gz: The process cannot access the file because it is being used by another process"
Could this be some antivirus software?

Can I ask what version of DRM you're using and what OS where DRM is installed as well first? We'll try to re-generate the issue.

OS Version: 10.0.22631 N/A Build 22631
The issue only seems to happen on my laptop and not on my desktop as well.

It just doesn't like to run at all, even when created within the app. As you can see from other job execution times compared to log times, it just runs whenever it wants to, which is extremely frustrating. Thanks!

Respectfully, it's hard to suspect that this is the software issue from what I think.
What I would suggest is that you can try to reinstall DRM and use a new version.

Hello, it's not help unfortunately.
This is latest DRM (3.4.8.1) output:
drm --deployment-type=share --location=C:\DRM\Export\R760 -r=R760-Install
Job Export_05/21/2025_20:53:35 is scheduled to run at: Wed May 21 20:53:38 AEST 2025
DRM shows task is scheduled. Why it will not run (only sometimes, but over and over)?
Why when I press "export logs" and download the logs.zip it is - 0 bytes.
Any way to fix this?

After restart one device, it works -
drm --deployment-type=share --location=C:\DRM\Export\R760 -r=R760-Install
Job Export_05/21/2025_21:17:26 is scheduled to run at: Wed May 21 21:17:29 AEST 2025
Export Repository job started.
Export Repository job completed successfully.
Previously posted command does not include any lines after "Job Export_05/21/2025_20:53:35 is scheduled to run at: Wed May 21 20:53:38 AEST 2025".
Logs are still 0 bytes after reboot and export gain 🤔

Hello,
can you check account user permission or some restriction for DRM installation?
Launch DRM with logging enabled or check logs at:
C:\ProgramData\Dell\drm\log\drmsvcerror.txt
Look for errors like UserPrincipalNotFoundException or Access Denied

Thanks, there are a lot of these two errors:
java.nio.file.FileSystemException: C:\ProgramData\Dell\drm\DRMVersion_A00.tar.gz: The process cannot access the file because it is being used by another process
java.lang.IllegalStateException: Queue full
I will get the logs again when I can get it to fail again and check if it's these. Any ideas what could cause these?
