Repository manager Power Firmware Updates
I have downloaded Repository Manager and created a new repository from the Dell iDRAC inventory of my PowerEdge R620. However, I don't see the power supply firmware listed in the Components of the Bundle.
My server has a Delta 495W Single PSU and I don't see it's firmware listed. My PSU is already having the latest firmware installed nevertheless. I was just curious as to why the PSU firmware wasn't being listed. Are power supply firmwares not included in the Dell online catalog because of possible issues with PSU firmware bricks on dual PSU setups?
Thanks.

Hello
It is my understanding that we removed PSUs from the catalog a year or two ago due to updating issues. The PSU FW updates have special pop-up warning about not power cycling or disconnecting power and that the system may appear unpowered for a long time during the update. There were also a few other issues with pushing PSU FW updates with several other updates.
In short, I think we intentionally removed them due to several limitations with update manager and the PSU update tool that caused FW update issues.
Thanks
