Hello thanks for choosing Dell and welcome to our community. Could you kindly give us more information-
Could you explain to me in details, what you are trying to do and how exactly, versions, name of the products, etc.
Respectfully,

Just trying to update to the latest Dell-RM enterprise server catalog, the automatic update service has started producing these "partial success" notifications and failures, and the local catalog is not being updated. Comparing local to the latest detected hangs indefinitely with the "loading" circle/wheel. The DellRM Java process looks like its working CPU cycles, but no progress is made.
Latest catalog looks like 25.12.02 ?
Stuck on this version:
Enterprise catalog: 25.12.01
A manual "Refresh" fails.
On the latest DRM version: 3.4.9.1169
DRM is installed on Ubuntu Linux LTS 22.04
Manual catalog update says its sometimes is successful, but think that's for the old version.

I have tried repairing the install, which has not helped.
Scoured DRM/system logs and the only useful thing I could find was the java errors about decoding failed when this happens.
I am testing fresh DRM install on Ubuntu server 24 clone to see if that helps at all to resolve.
Ran into issues running DRM with an upgrade in place and the same content, tried repair there as well as reinstall but no help.

Mihilistpenguin,
2025.12.01 is the newest catalog that has been released, but there may be a new one that may be dropping soon. I reached out to the SystemsMgmt team and they suggested calling in, so they can analyse the issue directly.

As a last resort, I have wiped the DRM install and all the DRM data fully after an upgrade to Ubuntu24. Was having too many issues with this.
After a fresh install of latest DRM and re-configuring settings again, [fighting with some email notification setting bugs, and config save hangs] after a reboot, so far things seem to be working.
I will keep an eye on this in case it happens again.

That CryptoHelper ArrayIndexOutOfBoundsException usually shows up when DRM tries to decode an empty or corrupted encrypted file. It could be that the catalog download isn’t completing properly or is getting corrupted during sync. I’d also double-check proxy, SSL, and DNS settings if any of those are in the path.
