"Failed downloading some components" error
Hi
I am using DRM v1.5.0. I am using a domain account with proxy access from the server I am DRM installed on.
I can query the source (ftp.dell.com) for updates and update my local repo accordingly. However, if I try to download a single or bundle of components I get the error "failed downloading some components".
I can export a SUU but it's missing the actual drivers & firmwares etc!
Our proxy logs are showing 'file type permitted', "category permitted" and 'protocol permitted' but there are errors and it looks like DRM is receiving this http://www.dell.com/support/drivers/us/en/04/DriversError/DownloadError?err=103
Any ideas?
Thanks

Can you provide an example of which component or bundle may cause this problem? Thanks.

Hi, all bundles and components give the same error. It doesn't matter if I try to download a single driver or the entire repository.
I have tried again today since upgrading to 1.6, but I'm getting the same error...

CC_Kris,
Can you help paste the last parts of the Repository Manager debug logs?
The log for the Data Center version can be located here:
%localappdata%\RepositoryManager\Log\DellRepositoryManager_Server.svclog
Thanks.

OK I had a look at the Server Log files in this location and I can see that my file repository source was invalid, hence the error downloading - it was trying to save to a location that did not exist.
I uninstalled DRM, removed all DRM references from my profile and re-installed.
All OK now. Thanks for your help.
