Export Repository to Disc - download new DUPs only and delete old DUPs?
I have an existing full "Export Repository to Disc(sic)" repository on the file system (with Catalog.xml and all the DUPs).
After making minor changes to my repository (in DRM database) I would like to reexport to the same file system location BUT only download new DUPs (i.e., don't redownload existing DUPs) and remove DUPs that are no longer in my repository.
How can this be done with "Export Repository to Disc"?
I do not want DRM to waste time downloading DUPs that I already have; I also want DRM to clean up unwanted DUPs but I don't see these options in the dialog box.

Current version of DRM does not manage the download files outside DRM workspace. So, if you export a repository to the same location multiple times, DRM will copy the files every time, even they may not changed.
However, DRM program itself can manage the download files in DRM workspace and may achieve what you want. Here is how it works.
1) Create a local repository from Dell online repository (the default source), DRM will not download the files at this point until you export this repository to disc, or export some bundles to an external output, i.e. SUU, or download selected components to disc.
2) After a file is output by one of above export actions, DRM will cache the file into an internal file store. So, if the same file is involved in any following export operation, DRM will pick up the file from the local file store and will not download it again from ftp.dell.com.
3) If you add new files to this local repository in DRM (database), then DRM will only download the files which are not in DRM file store in your next export.
4) If you delete a file in the local repository (database), DRM will remove the physical file from the file store when no other repositories refer to it.
Hope these help.
