Cannot Delete Repository

Hey,

We reinstalled our Dell Repository Manager on a Windows Server 2012 VM because the Service was broken.

After the reinstall we couldnt delete any repository. Serveral forum entry stated that you are able to delete the database but i can not find it under %localappdata%

Hey @Malte2018 ,

DRM Database path for windows : %programdata%/dell/drm

But, be cautious that deletion of database removes repositories and reset application preferences you have previously set.

As you are trying re-installation, i assume you considered that factor of clearing repositories and starting fresh.

Response back if you still have queries/issues or mark as resolved.

Thanks,

Senthil

1. On the Dell EMC Repository Manager home page, select a repository by clicking on the checkbox next to the name of the repository.

2. Click Delete. Delete window is displayed.

3. Click the drop-down menu to view and select the versions to delete. To delete all versions, click All Versions check-box and click Delete. To delete multiple versions of the repository, click the drop-down list and select the required versions to delete and click Delete.

4. Click Delete.

Please Click on Kudos if it worked.

I'm also trying to remove two repositories (with no luck). I found drm catalog, but there are many other folders and files. What does it mean to clear / delete drm database? Should I remove the whole 'database' folder or just particular files?

Regards.
