Cannot create OME Inventory
After upgrading to OME 2.1.0.2634 and Repository Manager 2.1.0 I cannot create a OME inventory in Repository Manager using Online Catalog.
-My Repositories
-New Dell OpenManage Essentials (OME) inventory
-Type name and select Dell Online Catalog
-Connection to OME is successful and devices are listed
-Selecting Linux Bundles and Components
After clicking Finish I get this message:
No compliant updates found in the selected repository. Please select a different source repository and retry the operation
No Events found!

Hi,
There was an issue in OME 2.1.0.2634. This issue has been resolved and a new build of OME ( 2.1.0.2635) is available. Please download and install this build to resolve the issue.
We deeply regret the inconvenience caused.
Thanks,
Amal

Hi Amal,
That is good news, but when I download from support.dell.com I still get the old version, could you please post a direct download link?

Hi
Please use the following link to download the latest OME.
http://www.dell.com/support/home/us/en/04/Drivers/DriversDetails?driverId=JW22C
Also, Can you please share the link through which you could access the older version so that we can sort this once and for all ?
Thanks,
Amal

The link you provided was the same I already tried. The installation wizard said OME was already up to date, but I continued and performed a Repar installation. After repair, version 2.1.0.2635 was installed.
However, the original problem is still the same, Unable to create inventory from OME in Repository Manager.

Hi,
You can try uninstalling OME while retaining the database (Installer will ask when you uninstall whether you want to retain the database or not).
Then you can try fresh installation with OME 2.1.2635 build. The installer will detect existing database which you can re-use while installation.
This will possibly fix the problem you are facing. Let us know if this helps.
Thanks,
Vijay

Vijay,
Reinstalling OME solved the problem.
I'd like to note that uninstalling OME requires uninstalling SupportAssist. SupportAssist does not retain configuration and needs to be re-configured.

Thanks Rogers for updating the thread. Glad to know your problem got solved.
The feedback regarding SupportAssist re-configuration is noted and passed on the concerned team.
