Onboard and Dedicated GPU
I am a mainly writing this post for others checking before buying (wish i had) i doubt my issue can be resolved but buyers please beware!
Recently got the dell pro max AMD 7 (with on board GPU) with dedicated Blackwell 1000 GPU, What I was not informed before buying the device is that the USBC are linked to the onboard GPU and that cant be changed.
So if you don't want the onboard GPU at all (it shares resources taking RAM) and disable it because you want to use the dedicated GPU that you paid for you will be unable to use Secondary monitors via the USBC ports.
So not only does it use your Ram up it swaps between the two GPU for different things and disabling the onboard does nothing but make it so you you cant use secondary monitors or docks.
