Dell Pro Max 16: Intel AMT blocked by WD22TB4?

Having managed to get Mesh Commander to access my ProMax whilst ethernet attached, I cannot achieve connectivity when attaching via a WD22TB4 Thunderbolt Dock.  I am using the same upstream gigabit ethernet switchport and the DHCP router diagnostics record identical packet handshaking for both methods.  The arp cache is correctly reporting IPv4 to MAC bindings, but ping only works when attached via the ProMax Ethernet port.

My BIOS is v1.12.1 and WD22TB4 Firmware is v01.01.13.01.

Responses from members with similar experiences would be very much appreciated.  I have trawled the BIOS and MEBx for mitigating switches, but cannot find any.
